Nope. I'm here for fun too! I expect a lot of the tech talk will be over my head, but I still think there's lots I can learn.Have you played around at the Soundation site yet? It's fun, and they have 6 or 7 introductory how-to videos that are brief but very helpful. Cheers!
I am not crazy, my mother had me tested . There is nothing wrong with being crazy anyway, and I know that I will embarass myself, so let's do it together.Hi from Croatia.
Quoting Einstein: "A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?"
I haven't had much time in Soundnation yet.
Hello Croatia from Pennsylvania United States!
Thank you, I willcheck out the videos.
There is nothing crazy at all about learning for the sake of learning. You might take some inspiration from the jazz educator Marc Sabatella. His attitude, which I share, is that all of us are musicians. Some of us are performing musicians, and some are listening musicians. If you want to become a better listening musician, this course is a great way to do that.
I live in Australia, Im a newbie to music in general but learning for fun is what everyone should do.You guys sound great!Michael.
I'm posting this to my crew -- my module 2 project is "step" by vampire weekend. Actually just the first verse. You can find it there (the forum will not let me double post)
I'm starting to think this is a bit over my head, I wanted to up lode some old LP's for my mp3 . But I had to look up timber, because I had no idea what it is. So I might decide this might be a little more than I would ever need to know. I do have more respected for just what go's into the making of good sound, and music. I know so little I couldn't be anything but a drag on others, so I don't want to join a group.
Taking the class for FUN?!?!? BAH!!!
NO!! If you aren't suffering at the hands of a teacher who knows everything, something ain't right with you!
OK, forgive my outburst. I'm in the same virtual boat as you.
So let's make music then?
How are you people leading with Module 2?I haven't started my Perceived Space Graph but I will use The Cure "Six Different ways" song.
I have gone through a) part of the module and I'm sure it will be very cool.
I also recommend you guys this video as an example.

It was difficult to fit everything in because I ran out of columns, and there were some "extra" sections such as bridges, intros, pre-chorus etc. Also, the verses and choruses had a front and back half to them
"Your eyes" for a change.
